So far this month we have attended the Big Picnic Event 2026 at Redcatch Park where we met some incredible women and brilliant organisations within the local community and have attended the Luckwell Primary School summer fair where we had the chance to meet the Lord Mayor of Bristol and explain all about ourselves here at Girls Allowed and what we've created. - Girls Allowed Supporting Women In Bristol
Created in 2025 Girls Allowed is a Women's Only constituted group within the heart of Bristol which aims to provide ongoing physical and mental wellbeing support for women.
Girls Allowed's aims and purposes include supporting women across Bristol no matter what challenge or difficult situation they may be facing. With no limitations, Girls Allowed aims to bring awareness and support to multiple conditions and lifestyles such as mental health disorders, domestic abuse and difficult family dynamics, women's health concerns such as endometriosis, PMDD, PCOS and more, pregnancy complications, bereavement & child Loss and debilitating illnesses such as cancers, fibromyalgia and diabetes to name a few.
We believe no women should suffer in silence, should struggle or feel isolated and therefore Girls Allowed has been created to achieve an uplifting, safe space in which women can feel comfortable, relatable and heard.
"Changing the stigma around community organisations, one event at a time."
With the provision of evening events and coffee mornings we create a safe space for women to socialise, meet new friends and enjoy local entertainment hoping to bring a sense of self reflection, relief from daily challenges and help women to continue being their authentic selves by supplying information for local activities and hobbies of all kinds, taking them away from their daily struggles and allowing women to freely be themselves.
This is also a great chance for women to seek advice and support from each other, to gain relevant information for professional services and find the help that they require.
